~Tips to keep in mind to enjoy “Hanami”~
By the way, are there any tips for enjoying “Hanami“?
“Hanami” season is actually quite limited.
It can be hard to enjoy it if the weather is bad or too windy.
For visitors who only stay in Japan for a few days, it can be tricky to catch the cherry blossoms at their best.
Also, in recent years, the cherry blossoms often bloom earlier than expected because of global warming.
So, it’s important to plan your trip carefully.
Yeah, I remember when I first visited Japan in spring,
I thought the cherry blossoms would be in full bloom by early April.
But when I got here, most of them had already fallen!
I don’t want to miss the flowers…!
I usually check the news and search on the internet or social media every year.
But it’s hard to know for sure until right before the season starts.
Another challenge is finding a good spot. Popular “Hanami” places get incredibly crowded.
To avoid the rush, it’s better to go on a weekday.
And of course, good manners are very important during “Hanami”.
You should always clean up after yourself, respect others’ space,
and enjoy the flowers without causing trouble for people around you.
Everyone can enjoy but we also need to be considerate of each other.
I will bring a trash bag too!
Many people love sharing “Hanami” moments on social media.
But don’t touch the flowers or break branches just to get a better shot.
Always respect the nature.
That’s so important! Sometimes I see tourists who get too excited and end up damaging the trees.
I think it’s good to enjoy and share the beauty, but gently and respectfully.
We need to be kind to the flowers too!
Summary
Check the news, internet, and social media in advance to catch the right timing.
It’s better to go on a weekday to avoid the rush. Let’s be considerate of others and kind to nature!
